A day out in Dublin as recommended by Steven (our hunky muscle man from Hungary).

Well after being in Dublin for the last 7 months and working in the hostel for 6 months I have seen a lot of Dublin. Here are my top recommended places to visit in a day.
Start the day with a nice breakfast. The hostel has a great breakfast that will give you a good start to the day.
After breakfast I recommend to take a walk in the city center since there are lot of things to see. First of all there is the Spire witch is Europe's highest monument with the smallest diameter. I also have to mention the James Joyce statue as well.
It worth to visit one of the main shopping streets too. They are the Grafton street and the Henry street. Here you can buy everything, souvenirs clothes and you can see street performers as well.
If you are in Dublin I recommend to visit the national gallery. It is free to get in and if you like museums you are definitely going to enjoy it.
Since Ireland is a Catholic country you will see a lot of churches everywhere you go. The two main cathedrals are the Christ Church and the St. Patrick's Cathedral. It will cost you a few euros to get in but it worth it believe me.
After the Cathedral I would go to the Guinness Storehouse. You can see the way how they make the Guinness and then you can have a good pint as well... and don't forget your Guinness souvenirs.
After this trip I would go back to the hostel. Make a dinner for myself and then at night I would go out to the city for a couple of pints.
Well I hope this is of some use to you, what ever you do in Dublin enjoy it and if you need any help just ask us at the reception desk. Thanks, Steven.
